Cold Roll Forming:A process for
forming metal from strip or sheet of uniform thickness into shapes of
essentially constant cross section, generally by feeding the material
longitudinally through successive pairs of rolls, each pair of rolls
progressively forming the metal until the finished cross-section is
achieved.

The Cold Rolled Sections Association (CRSA) was found in 1944 and is an
association of manufacturers who produce both custom roll formed shapes
and products/systems manufactured by the Cold Forming process.
